Shinji Mikami's studio becomes part of the ZeniMax fold
Tango Gameworks bought up by Bethesda parent
ZeniMax continue their push to acquire top development talent by picking up the studio of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
Tango Gameworks joins an impressive fold alongside Bethesda, id Software and Arkane Studios.
Mikami-san said: "It's refreshing to find a publisher who understands, trusts, and supports the development of blockbuster games and works to make it a collaborative effort. The library of triple-A franchise titles ZeniMax owns speaks for itself. We are very excited to be joining ZeniMax and working with a company that is dedicated to creating the best games ever made."
Shinji Mikami will remain the creative lead of Tango Gameworks for the forseeable future.
