Dead Rising 2 shifts 2 million copies

Blue Castle officially becomes part of Capcom

Capcom has happily announced that their latest zombie apocalypse title Dead Rising 2 has topped 2 million sales.

This milestone pushed the franchise's total sales to date at 4 million units worldwide which is no mean feat in today's economic climate.

The news comes as Capcom finalised their acquisition of Dead Rising 2 studio Blue Castle after having it ratified by the Canadian authorities.

Blue Castle will now be known as Capcom Game Studio Vancouver.
