PSP 2 to match the Xbox 360?
Has Sony really packed that much power into their new handheld?
More rumours have surfaced over the technical specifications of the as yet unannounced PSP 2.
Kotaku has unearthed some more details on the new handheld and believe that the PSP 2 may have the kind of horsepower under the hood to match the Xbox 360.
The site's sources have suggested that the PSP 2 will have 1 GB of RAM which is twice that of Microsoft's home machine. This is fuelling the speculation that the PSP 2 could be as powerful as the 360.
The sources also mentioned that the easily pirated UMD format would be ditched in favour of an as-yet undecided format although the console will see the return of Sony MemoryStick support.
