Whilst publisher Interactive have shied-away from confirming a Thief: Deadly Shadows release date in the most part, Eurogamer.net reckon they might just be able to spill the beans, having heard through the grapevine that Ion Storm's gloomy-stealth outing should be out on the and this June in Europe.

Many will be hoping that the Thief's latest fails to follow the 'dumbing-down' pattern levelled against Ion Storm's recent sequel, and we may get a better idea come May and E3, at which Eidos will show this and Guerrilla's impressive-looking Shellshock.

Officially, 'Spring' is the best the publisher can offer in terms of a release date, but we're hoping this will change to something a little more concrete over the coming weeks.
