Rumoured PlayStation Phone specs leaked
With Nintendo announced the success to the DS earlier this year, gamers have wondered how Sony would respond. It seems the company's next step is to combine the PlayStation brand with its popular Sony Ericsson phone model.
Earlier today, Engadget posted several pictures and specifications for the alleged PlayStation Portable phone. The device looks similar to the PSP Go, though it replaces the analog nub with a touch pad.
Engadget says the PSP Phone will include 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 chip, 512MB of RAM, 1 GB of ROM, and a 4-inch screen. The site also notes that the device is likely scheduled for a 2011 release.
In addition to the leaked photographs and specifications, several other signs have pointed to a PSP2 release coming soon. For example, in September, designers at NetherRealm Studios claimed to already have test kits at their disposal.
