CD Projeckt: The Witcher 2 is ripe for DLC
The fantasy RPG may receive DLC in the future.
With CD Projekt set to release The Witcher 2 next spring, it seems the European studio is already contemplating story-based add-on content.
"Nothing really solid that I want to talk about right now but yes, it seems a really natural move to go to DLC," senior producer Tomasz Gop told Games On Net. "Theres definitely a lot of stories there to be told."
Earlier this year, CD Projekt hinted that it may be working on DLC for the title. "As for DLC nothing has been announced again, but were definitely thinking about this one," the studio told VG247.
The Witcher 2 is currently slated for release in the first quarter for 2010 for PCs, with a console release planned for later in the year.
