With a growing number of high-definition games only supporting or LAN co-op, it seems inXile is looking to buck that trend with its 2011 release, Hunted: The Demon's Forge.

Speaking with VG247 at the Eurogamer Expo last week, inXile's Maxx Kaufman said that while Hunted currently does not support split-screen co-op, the studio is actively working to include it in the game's final version next spring.

"The game doesnt have spilt screen at this moment," Kaufman told VG247. "When we first started we went for visually fidelity, and since then we have been looking at it. I would love to bring split screen to the final product, but we are still working on it."

Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a fantasy game due for release next spring. It will be available for the PS3, and PC.
