The title was announced over the weekend at The Grand Masquerade convention in New Orleans, reports Massively.com. World of Darkness is being developed by CCP's Atlanta branch and is tentatively scheduled for a 2012 release.
Details are still slim, but based on the teaser trailer, the game will feature the modern World of Darkness setting and will focus on character interactions as well as player politics.
The role-playing game has inspired two Activision-published PC games in the past 10 years.
