The excellent Disney-Square double-act has sold an impressive four-million copies worldwide since launch in 2002, was proudly announcing yesterday. The innovative RPG, which starred a whole smorgasbord of famous animated characters, sold 1.23 million in Japan, 2 million in North America, and 820,000 in Europe.

Sales have apparently accrued gradually but solidly over the last two or so years since launch, and Square Enix will no doubt be pleased as this bodes well for the forthcoming PS2 / GBA sequels currently in the pipeline.
