The new boss of Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, has admitted that the is getting on a bit.

Yoshida confessed to GamesIndustry.biz that their handheld is now pushing six years old but he was eager to stress that it still has plebty of life left.

He said: "When we launched PSP it was the newest, biggest, brightest thing that we had and after five or six years, and releasing many games, theres no denying that people start to see that its getting a bit old."

He added: "But we're always trying to expand the market now our focus is on shifting to a younger audience and a more audience, and we're making games for that audience."
