Speaking at Sony's Tokyo Game Show press event, Team ICO head Fumito Ueda has confirmed that their latest game, The Last Guardian, will launch in time for the 2011 holiday season.
The announcement came alongside a trailer that showed the protagonist interacting with the creature. While the trailer was new, it was very similar to past promotional material that has been shown.
Additionally, Ueda also confirmed that Shadow of the Colossus and ICO will be remastered for the PS3. The revamped versions of the games will come complete with 3D support, as well as high-definition graphics.
Sony also announced that other popular titles, including Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Final Fantasy XIV, would make the jump to 3D at the conference.
