While the first Valkyria Chronicles was greeted with a warm critical reception, it performed sluggishly at Western retailers. Nonetheless, the successful spin-off anime series helped pave the way for a second entry, and now possibly a even third title if a new teaser page is any indication.

Sega recently launched a teaser page for an unknown title. While the only information explicitly conveyed through the microsite is the message "Altaba Abilia 422" and the promise of a September 16th reveal. It also shows familiar outlines of several characters including a silouette very reminiscient of the first game's Edelweiss tank.

Additionally, recently registered the domain Valkyria3.jp, further fuelling speculation that this mysterious title may be a new Valkyria Chronicles.

September the 16th just happens to be the first day of the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, so chances are the game will be revealed there. Sega will be showcasing several other notable titles at the event including Vanquish, the title, Colors and Shining Hearts.
