Xbox Live Gold prices going up
Not good news for Xbox gamers
Microsoft has announced and increase in price for their Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.
The price changes will affect the UK, US, Canada and Mexico from the 1st of November this year.
It is the US that sees the most comprehensive changes with the 12-month, 3-month and single month prices all rising. The new US prices will be 59.99 USD, 24.99 USD and 9.99 USD respectively.
In the UK and Canada only the monthly rate has risen. The new one-month prices are 5.99 GBP in the UK and 9.99 CAD in Canada.
Finally Mexico will see the price of 12 month subscriptions to rise from 499 PESOS to 599 PESOS.
The good news is there's still two months to stock up on subscription cards before the prices go up.
