Chris Ryan to write a Medal of Honor book
Former SAS man brings his experiences to the Medal of Honor franchise
Former SAS operative Chris Ryan is set to write a novel set in the new Medal of Honor universe.
The novel penned by the former SAS man will be a prequel story to the game which is due out on October the 15th.
Ryan is yet another former special ops soldier EA has recruited to ensure that the revitalised Medal of Honor franchise in the most authentic military shooter yet.
Ryan explained a bit of thinking behind the book: "It is a real privilege to be involved in a game with such a heritage as Medal of Honor. Combining my experience as an SAS soldier in the Gulf War with missions from the video game itself enabled me to create an authentic and respectful account of an elite soldier fighting in Afghanistan for Medal of Honor: The Book. Bringing together the disciplines of literature and video games has been a new but compelling experience for me as a writer, resulting in what is hopefully an engaging read for fans of video games and novels alike."
