F.E.A.R. 3 delayed until 2011

Holiday season delays have claimed another victim: suspenseful supernatural shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 3.

Destructoid reports that publisher Warner Bros. has pushed back the planned Halloween release of F.E.A.R. 3, opting for a vague 2011 release. No reason for the delay was provided.

Given less-than spectacular sales of F.E.A.R. 2, Warner Bros. could be moving the game's release in an effort to ensure high quality and allow more time for promotional activities.

F.E.A.R. 3 will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2011.
