Enthusiasm for Japanese developer is being manipulated to promote news stories that otherwise would go unnoticed.

No one can rightly claim that game designer is undeserving of praise. His phenomenal work on the franchise demands recognition; however, that doesn't mean we should hang onto his every last word.

In stating that he had news to share regarding Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Kojima put the press in tizzy. The news as Andriasang reports--the announcement of voice actors for the game--was relatively minor, yet it was treated as a major story simply because it came from Kojima's mouth.

Not everything that Kojima does is worth highlighting and we all ought to exercise discretion about what deserves attention. After all, does it really matter to you who the voice actors are for the Japanese version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow?
