The first instalment of Dance Dance Revolution for PlayStation 3 will support the motion-controller, along with song downloads via PlayStation Network.

Konami revealed first details on the new Dance Dance Revolution game on PlayStation.Blog, specifically highlight support for PlayStation Move. Also promised is "a lot" of downloadable content, which we can assume will be song packs.

Composer Naoki Maeda explains, "This awesome new peripheral allows us to bring some really cool new aesthetics and challenges to the game. We took out the avatars to allow the camera and the controller to put the focus on the player."

Dance Dance Revolution will be available for PlayStation 3 later this year.
