Not content with asphalt, will be hitting the snowy slopes in the second game to utilise the poo-pooed board peripheral.

Destructoid has first screenshots of Tony Hawk: Shred, which clearly show a female snowboarder doing her thang on a mountainside. Although has confirmed that is in the game, the company did release the screenshots.

It's an unusual move for the series, particularly given its purity with regard to in its long history. Just how much snowboarding is in the game remains to be seen.

Tony Hawk: Shred will be available for PlayStation 3, 360, and this autumn.
