A series of downloadable content packs coming to the arcade will introduce several new cars, including a new vehicle class later this month.

UK developer posted the news on the official Split/Second page, detailing a bunch of new cars to be released in three packs.

"The first pack will provide new liveries to really make your turbo-powered Elite vehicles stand out from the rest of the crowd! The second DLC pack will be a entirely new vehicle offering called the 'High Octane' Supercar Pack."

A free vehicle based on the Ryback Cyclone will also be available at the end of August.

Additionally, the developer confirmed that a new level would be released in September.
