Accomplished creative director makes a big move from Montreal to the steep streets of San Francisco as he takes on a new role with the house that George Lucas built.

GameSpot has confirmed that game designer Clint Hocking has left Ubisoft for to work on an unannounced project. Hocking will serve as creative director on the project, the same role he filled during the of FarCry 2.

While some had quibbles with the game, FarCry 2 was universally praised for its ambitious scope.

Hocking has apparently already moved to San Francisco to work at LucasArts, although there's no word on when his mysterious game will be unveiled.
