Ubisoft and Virgin Gaming have announced a partnership beginning with the release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

The partnership is set to take advantage of Ubisoft's big titles due out in the next year or so.

Players will be able to compete against the best gamers for prizes and even money on Ubisoft's latest titles.

Virgin Gaming CEO Rob Segal said: "Ubisoft is one of the leading video game publishers in the world and we are thrilled to offer our members the opportunity to compete in some of their best multiplayer console games. Virgin Gaming is a unique convergence of social networking, video games and competitive gaming, and we are excited that shares our vision for the platform and its potential."
