New series spin-off transports you to a Middle Ages populated by of all shapes and sizes including chivalrous heroes and conniving twerps.

The Sims Medieval puts you in control of Sims during the Middle Ages, allowing you to embark on a variety of quests ranging from crafting swords and protecting a castle from a sorcerer to arranging weddings and questing for the fabled fountain of youth.

It won't be the first time franchise has ventured to a new setting. The Urbz: Sims in the City departed the franchise's suburban setting for an urban adventure. Unfortunately, it didn't fare so well with critics and consumers alike.

The Sims Medieval hopefully does better when it arrives for and in spring 2011.
