Wipeout studio trying their hand at an action game?

The studio responsible for the Wipeout series may be working on something a bit different to their usual brand hi-octane racing.

It has emerged that Studio Liverpool is planning a first-person/third-person action title.

According to a job advert posted on Sony's jobs website Studio Liverpool are looking for a Senior Games Designer.

The ad specifies that the right candidate will have an "encyclopaedic knowledge of games, especially 3rd / 1st person action".
