Sony announces PlayStation lifestyle brand
PS3 cufflinks anyone?
Sony has decided to market PlayStation as a lifestyle brand to raise the profile of their gaming business.
The PlayStation logo will appear on 123 different items across 45 differnet licensees as part of their new official licensing program.
The list of items includes PlayStation accessories and toys but it also stretches to watches, belts, cufflinks and even sneakers.
Sony says that the aim of the program is to deliver various quality lifestyle products that will make the PlayStation brand more accessible than ever."
