QuakeCon 2010 details released
50,000 USD up for grabs this year
This year's QuakeCon event will be featuring three tournaments with Quake players vying for a share of 50,000 USD in prize money.
The main event is the Intel Quake Live Masters Championship which features the 64 of the world's best professional Quake Live players with the winner walking away with 14,000 USD.
The Quake Live Capture the Flag Championship will feature four-on-four action with up to 32 teams facing off for another 14,000 first prize.
The final tournament is the Quake Live Open Tournament which will offer up to 128 hungry amateurs battling it out for a 1,500 USD to prize.
Quakecon 2010 runs from August 12th to 15th at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Players can register online at www.quakecon.org/tournament or register at the event from 9am on the 12th of August.
