Not content to milk the WWE franchise with three separate lines of games, publisher intends to introduce a fourth series next year.

CVG reveals the company's plan for a new WWE series, which is currently in development. The title is intended to supplant WWE Smackdown! Vs Raw Online, which won't be released outside of Asia.

"[N]ext year you'll see another new extension there in another way - that's just as exciting as All Stars, but a little different. We're not talking about that yet," explains THQ's Danny Bilson.

Another game in the franchise, WWE All Stars, is slated for release during the first half of 2011 for PlayStation 3, 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable.
