Aion fans are in for a bit of a treat later in the summer when NCSoft release the Assault on Balaurea expansion pack.

Assault on Balaurea is a free expansion to Aion that will be available from the 7th of September in North America and the 10th of September in Europe.

The new expansion introduces Aion players to the realm of Balaurea and a whole raft of additions and improvements to the game.

Aside of all the usual additional quests, items, zones, weapons and improved game mechanics Assault on Balaurea introduces pets to Aion. Not only are pets a companion but they also bring added benefits in-game.
