Gran Turismo 5 maxes out PS3
Just a selling point
As a result of numerous delays, Gran Turismo 5 maximises PlayStation 3 hardware in ways no other games has up to this point claims developer Polyphony Digital.
Studio head Kaz Yamauchi told the Official PlayStation Magazine UK as highlighted by CVG that Gran Turismo 5 is so advance that it goes "beyond the level of the current PlayStation."
"The level of precision we've achieved [in GT5] is actually more suited to the next generation of machines."
In other words, Yamauchi believes that his game is so technically superior to anything else on PlayStation 3 that it should be on PlayStation 4 to be truly appreciated. Considering how long it takes for Polyphony Digital to develop a Gran Turismo game, surely PlayStation 4 will be out before the next instalment.
