Ubisoft has revised its release schedule, which now puts Driver: San Francisco on the 2011 calender instead of this year.

In an estimated earnings notice posted today, French publisher announced a to Driver: San Francisco. Originally scheduled for release at the end of this year, it will now come out before the end of March 2011.

Ubisoft cites "the competitive market at Christmas" as sufficient reason for the delay; however, increasingly more high profile titles have been forgoing holiday release in favour of early new year debuts. The result is a crowded start of the year.

Driver: San Francisco will be available in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and 360.
