iPhone 4 hits 1.7 million sales in 4 days
Apple produce another monster launch
Just when we thought the iPad had a successful launch the iPhone 4 goes and rewrites the record books again.
In just four days the iPhone 4 has sold 1.7 million units beating Apple's previous records just set by the iPad.
Despite website bugs and news of a problem with the handset's aerial technophiles turned out in their droves to be the first to get their hands on Apple's latest gadget du jour. Needless to say, pre-order stocks in the US and the UK were sold out.
Apple figurehead Steve Jobs said: "This is the most successful product launch in Apples history. Even so, we apologise to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply."
Thanks MCV.
