IGN reported the news they have received from 'sources' states that Nintendo's new handheld will have almost HD quality visuals.

The report also suggests that, not only will you be able to turn the effects on and off, but the intensity of the 3D effects can be adjusted to suit your eyes.

The 3DS is set to be unveiled at E3 this week and is due out in some time before April of next year.
