StarCraft 2 beta gets another week
Blizzard thanks beta testers with an additional week of play time
Blizzard has decided to extend the closing date for the current phase of beta testing for StarCraft 2 by a whole week.
The beta was originally set to close this Monday, May the 31st but that date has now been pushed back to Monday June the 7th.
After the 7th of June Blizzard will close the beta in order to make some adjustments to their hardware and software before reopening for one final beta test a fortnight before the launch.
Blizzard concluded their announcement with a thank you to all those that have played the beta.
They said: "We'd like to thank all of our beta-test participants for your enthusiasm, dedication, and valuable feedback during the beta test, and we look forward to hearing more of your thoughts on the StarCraft II beta test as the game's July 27 launch approaches."
