The mill has been buzzing with the news that hits ICO and Shadow of the Colossus will be getting the HD treatment.

The good news was broken in an oddly cryptic post on VG247, which will get many gamers hearts' racing.

The news grew later in the day as it was also rumoured that the double pack will hit stores some time in the first quarter of 2010.

The release could be timed perfectly to generate some excitement for Fumito Ueda's next masterpiece, The Last Guardian.
