New games and 2 weren't able to route top dog 2010 South Africa in the latest figures.

Just weeks ahead of the start of the World Cup, Sports's tie-in game is holding onto the top sales spot. Pressure from 360-exclusive psychological horror game Alan Wake and straight up fest Lost Planet 2 weren't enough to knock it down.

Chart Track reports that neither game could ought the leader, taking the second and third spots respectively. Just Dance followed up in fourth, maintaining its long run in the top ten.

Whether new games can fuel strong May sales seems unlikely given the poor showing in April in which sales were down significantly from previous years.
