It was the game that fans either loved or loathed, but Mario Sunshine seems to be held in high affection by the boys at Nintendo.

So much so that they have slipped a level into Super Mario Galaxy 2 that looks surprisingly like Sunshine's Isle Delfino.

Latest footage of Mario Galaxy 2 shows Mario and Yoshi swinging around a tropical island paradise populated Pianata, the race that were first seen in Mario Sunshine.

This time around there will be no graffiti that requires a clean-up, though.
