p>After having had a torrid time getting the version of Section 8 published, Timegate CEO Adel Chaveleh has been extolling the merits of digital distribution.

Chaveleh told Gamasutra in an interview that, for indie gamers, digital self-publishing is the way of the future.

Chaveleh said: "Digital is a path for empowerment and an alternative to the traditional distribution model where a small group of people control the tollway to the consumer."

He added: "Think of how many developers have complained that somewhere between finishing the product and getting it into their consumer, something went wrong or they didn't have control."

Timegate finally managed to secure a home for Section 8 on and it is available now.
