Arkham Asylum 2 to be delayed?

Next Batman game may slip to 2011

The rumour mill seems to suggest that Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 will be delayed until 2011.

News that a 2010 release may have been overly optimistic came from a UK retail source close to CVG.

The source was quotes as saying: "We've been told that Warner has acted early to avoid releasing the game into a heavily congested pre-Christmas market. It wants to dominate the first quarter of 2011 instead, when it can get maximum retail space and mindshare amongst gamers."

If this is the case then it will be disappointing, but hey, it worked for God of War III, right?
