Discussions between a Fox executive and could be a precursor to a potential programming deal that would stream shows to you via Live.

Both existing programmes and original content would be available in a joint venture between the two companies, Bloomberg reports. In essence, it would be like a TV channel viewable only through Xbox Live.

Purportedly, the channel would require a $1-2 fee on top of current subscriptions. It's a measure executives hope spurs consumer interest in paying for television content.

Neither company is commenting about negotiations for such a deal, though it seems likely that the popularity of digital media makes this a matter of when and not whether it will happen.
