Survey: 42 percent of Xbox 360s fail
Figures not particularly surprising
The Xbox 360 took another bashing from an independent survey again for its poor reliability.
The survey, carried out by nofussreviews.com, polled 500,000 and found that 42 percent had experienced a hardware failure with their 360.
The Xbox 360 compares very badly with the PS3, with an 8 percent failure rate and the Wii with its unbelievable 1 percent failure rate.
The survey also found that 60 percent of the Xbox failures were down to the dreaded Red Ring of Death. The survey didn't take into account the manufacturing date of the Xbox units.
