Numerous delays haven't enabled all the kinks to be ironed out of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, as reports of freezing errors are putting a damper on the game's release.

Complaints have been pouring in all over the web about first-run copies of the stealth-action game freezing up during the second level. The official Splinter Cell: Conviction forum has a lengthy thread on the issue.

A employee has posted to the thread with a temporary fix and assures that a permanent solution is on the way.

"We have reported this information for you, so in the mean time try deleting the cache (steps below) and retry the level. Sorry for the issue (for those running into it) and hold tight for further information."
