Xbox Dashboard jumps the gun on Gears 3
Microsoft fail to adjust for delay
In anticipation of CliffyB's appearance on Jimmy Fallon to premiere Epic's latest title, Microsoft posted an advert for Gears of War 3 on the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
Cliff Blezinski's appearance was delayed until Monday but Microsoft forgot to adjust for this in time - resulting in the leak.
The Dashboard blunder has been quickly removed but other sources confirmed to Edge the information Microsoft released, saying that Gears of War 3 is indeed due out April 2011 as has been speculated.
Rumour has it that Epic do have another new IP to announce this month. According to GamePro the new title will be produced by their newest acquisition, People Can Fly Studios. This game is set to be announced later in the month.
