New Doctor Who game free and episodic
Wield you own sonic screwdriver for free
Doctor Who's rebirth continues with the BBC announcing an episodic series of games with a nice twist.
The nice twist is that the series will be free.
These free games will be made by Sumo Digital and the point-and-click adventure guru Charles Cecil in close collaboration with the TV series' production team.
There are to be four games so far featuring the likenesses and voice acting of the current Doctor and his sidekick Amy. Each game will be around 250MB in size.
Charles Cecil told Develop of the new series: "Generally the gameplay is driven by stealth, minigames and a little bit of object interaction. But it's not an adventure in that you are scratching your head trying to work out how to use two abstract objects together."
Very interesting indeed. We'll keep you posted.
