New Castlevania wouldn't be as good without Kojima
Mercury Steam teach Kojima a thing or too as well
Dave Cox, producer of Castlevania: Lord of Shadows has been speaking about what it was like to work with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima.
Cox told the UK's PSM3 (via sister site CVG) of the wealth of experience that Kojima brought to the project.
Cox said: "Frankly, the game wouldn't be as good without him. On a technical level, they've helped us with many things - with Gabriel and facial animation, design and more. I get videos from them highlighting issues, and that's really useful."
"The most surprising thing he told me was that he felt Mercury Steam could teach them some things about game development," Cox continued. "That's typical of Mr. Kojima; he's generous and he's always looking at ways to improve what he does. Having someone of his calibre helping is a once-in-a-lifetime chance that the Castlevania team is truly grateful for."
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is due out in the Autumn on PS3 and Xbox 360.
