360 USB storage update hits Xbox Live
Microsoft loosens the 360 storage shackles
Always wanted to increase the storage space on your Xbox 360 but couldn't afford one of the official 360 hard drives?
Now you can add up to 32GB of storage via USB devices thanks to a new update to the Xbox Dashboard, applied to all users who log on to Live from today.
After suggestions earlier this month that this update would be arriving it is now live.
The new update allows the connection of 2 USB storage devices up to 16GB each. This opens up an extra 32GB of storage space for Xbox gamers who can't afford to splash out on a new HDD.
The limit on the storage space seems to be in place so 360 owners aren't dissuaded from picking up the new solus 250GB HDD which is coming very soon.
Thanks NowGamer.
