Assassin's Creed 3 out this year?

Two in 12 months? Surely not a good idea...

According to the CV of one Ubisoft employee, there is another Assassin's Creed title due out sometime this year.

The CV of one 3D animator at Ubisoft Montreal, Michael Donnell, states that he has been working on an Assassin's Creed title on unnamed platforms due out in 2010.

The mysterious title apparently will follow Ezio's story after the end of Assassin's Creed 2 and will include multiplayer.

Ubisoft officially confirmed in a investor conference call earlier in the year that the next Assassin's Creed title would arrive in the 2011 fiscal calendar which begins this month.

The only question is: why the rush?
