Despite universally mediocre sales of Nokia's gaming platform (or so various reports suggest), third-party support still seems to be strong and rising, demonstrating the collective will of gaming developers and publishers too see this alternative format survive, and also a strong degree of faith in the Finnish mobile giant's ability to pull it off in the end. Thusly, we have news this morning that VU Games are creating a new version of their eponymous Crash Bandicoot series for the wee-beastie.
A new version of Crash Nitro Kart is the order of the day, and the critter's latest will launch in the second half of the year - amid high-hopes from both VU and Nokia, no doubt. Wireless Bluetooth racing will be included, not to mention new characters, tracks and game modes.
We'll certainly be interested to take this Mario-Kart-alike for a spin when it's on the starting grid, especially as this is just the kind of title the under-fire N-Gage needs.
