Infinity Ward's rather confident community manager Robert Bowling insists that nothing can touch 2's number one status, even amidst major troubles with the first batch of DLC.

"We've been number one since launch and this map pack is going to bring even more people to playing MW2 and extend their play time. I don't see it slipping any time soon."

Pride always comes before the fall and if the problematic release of the Stimulus Pack is any indication, Modern Warfare 2 may have a tough year ahead.
