The year's most anticipated downloadable map pack has arrived with serious technical troubles, the most serious of which has rendered matchmaking dysfunctional.

Although the 2 Stimulus Pack hit its pledged release date, it's not exactly meeting expectations. Major matchmaking difficulties are joined by lobby troubles and map images not properly displaying.

Microsoft's Larry Hyrb (a.k.a. Major Nelson) tweeted about the problem, assuring that work was being done to fix it. "Matchmaking is in a bad state on LIVE right now. We're working on it and will resolve it as quickly as we can."

No word on when the Stimulus Pack will be functioning as normal, so if you download it be aware it may not work.
