Crysis 2 writer faces prison
Personal crisis
One of the lead writers for upcoming shooter Crysis 2 has been found guilty of assaulting a US federal employee and faces a maximum two year prison sentence.
Good Gear Guide has the story of writer Peter Watts, who has been convicted of assaulting a US customs officer stationed at the US-Canada border last year.
According to the victim, Watts attempted to choke the official during an extended customs screening. The jury agreed and found Watts guilty of the charge.
Watts will face sentencing in late April. Developer Crytek has not commented on the matter, though it doesn't look like the incident will affect Crysis 2.
