EA Sports Active 2.0 includes heart monitor
New fitness game unveiled
Yet more news out of GDC this morning as EA Sports lift the lid on their latest casual-bating exercise game - EA Sports Active 2.0.
Active 2.0 will come will a heart-rate monitor, and will land on the Wii and other consoles this autumn according to the publisher.
Joining the Wii, EA Sports are apparently working on versions of the title for the PS3, iPod Touch and iPhone. No mention of an Xbox 360 version, oddly.
According to EA, Active 2.0 will deliver "true fitness results by featuring an innovative wireless control system powered by new leg and arm straps with motion sensors, a heart rate monitor to capture intensity and a new online hub to track and share workout data."
More on this as we get it.
